Description
The fitting is a straight compression fitting, it is made of AISI 316 stainless steel, it is used to connect the tube to a threaded piece, this coupling is for a fixed connection between pipe and stainless steel pipe. A double ferrule fitting connects to pipe at one end to achieve a leak-resistant seal in high pressure, high vacuum and high vibration applications, and a male NPT/BSP connector at the other end connects to a threaded pipe.
These compression fittings require no tools or sealants and are useful in installations, using a nut and ferrule system to attach the tube to a threaded part.
- Male NPT/BSP threads on one end and pipe connection on the other.
- 316 stainless steel for strength and greater corrosion resistance.
- Double ferrule construction for added leak resistance.
- Since it has a compression ring connection, it can only be used once.
- Pass-through accessories.
- All NPT threads are cut on CNC turning centers; rolled threads are optional with a small price increase.
- The holes in the compression fitting bodies are drilled and then reamed to give a smooth internal finish and accurate dimensions.
- Ferrule seats are polished to ensure precise seating.
- Replacement SS316 bushings and nuts available.
- Other sizes, including metric, are available upon request.
- Single Bush Fittings: Compare to Parker.
- Double Ferrule Fittings – Compare to Swagelok.
